FAQ’S

  • It is not essential to bring a partner/support person with you to the class but it is recommended. There is a lot of partner work involved in the alignment protocols and positioning for labour. Most can be modified to do on your own if needed but a private session may be more appropriate if you do not have a support person to bring with you.

  • The class is held at a local studio in Wodonga. Address and directions will be given in a confirmation email after booking. I allow 4 hours for the workshop. Sometimes we take a little longer, sometimes a little less depending on questions and discussion.

  • The cost of the class includes a light morning tea, free access to online revision materials, a set of revision cards for both the alignment protocol and labour and birth positions, a discount voucher to attend another workshop and the option for a free birth debriefing phone call after your birth.

  • Early in the third trimester is what I usually suggest. Somewhere around 28-32 weeks seems to work best.

  • You don’t need to bring anything. Just wear something comfortable and stretchy, that allows you to move freely. Light morning tea will be provided and tea and coffee facilities are available.

  • The OMP for parents workshop is valued at $295.

The Bare Birth Essentials Class is valued at $250.

There is a discount of $100 if you wish to book into both classes.

Discounts may be available for group bookings, payment plans can be arranged, please email me for more details.

  • Yes, I have some availability to do private classes with people who can’t attend scheduled group classes. These are limited so please contact me early if you're interested in a private class.

  • No! OMP for parents is for anyone who is wanting to prepare themselves as best they can for labour and birth, whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, OMP will help you to feel prepared, confident and empowered going into birth.

  • OMP is generally safe for most fit and healthy pregnant women.

The stretches are gentle and we work on the “no pain” rule, so if it’s causing discomfort, we don’t do it.
